Ceramiche De Simone
An homage to Modern Art and traditional Sicilian folklore, Ceramiche De Simone’s distinctive pottery has been illuminating homes and dining rooms since the 1960s. The brand was founded in Palermo by Giovanni De Simone, who worked and studied under Pablo Picasso for several years in the 1950s before turning his attention to ceramics and becoming a celebrated artist in his own right. Look to this range of carefully handmade plates, decorative bowls, egg cups and pasta bowls – each one decorated with charming, hand-painted illustrations depicting scenes from traditional Sicilian life including kings and queens, fishermen, young couples in love and local animals – to bring playful and colourful flair to your dining table.
