Vista Alegre

With an illustrious history stretching back more than 200 years, Vista Alegre’s place within Portuguese heritage and identity is assured. The brand was originally formed by José Ferreira Pinto Basto in 1824 and issued with the Royal Licence by King João VI of Portugal in the same year. Having established a reputation for expertly crafted and refined porcelain serveware and crockery, Vista Alegre’s Royal credentials were sealed in 1955, when President Francisco Craveiro Lopes presented Queen Elizabeth II with a specially made dinner set during his State Visit to the UK. Look to this range of plates, bowls and cup and saucer sets, each piece produced by a dedicated team of skilled technicians, to bring understated artistry to your dining room.
