Spring Styling: The Menswear Trends to Wear in 2026

Flickers of sunshine, buds on trees and the re-emergence of the dawn chorus can mean only one thing. Spring has, as they say, sprung. And with it comes a need for a wardrobe rethink: pack away the heavier knits and functional puffers: sartorial experimentation is back. Whether you’re making the most of the spring days, or preparing yourself mentally (and sartorially) for a long-awaited break from the chill - these are the trends that will take you there.

A Floral Flourish

Unfurling blooms are a perennial sign of the new season. From the puffed blossoms of early spring to the full-throttle floral symphonies of June and July: where better to take inspiration for your spring aesthetic? This season, the bolder the better, and no-one knows print like Liberty. If an all over print feels intimidating, opt for textural detailing for a soft effect: whether that's a naturally rugged base fabric of hemp or linen, or through delicate embroidery. Pair your floral shirt with relaxed chinos, fisherman sandals and a vintage knit slung over your shoulders.

Spring is a season characterised by practicality. While the hints of sunshine are tempting, the most fickle of the seasons will send a storm cloud and icy rain the moment you leave the house without an umbrella. Although we can’t make the weather settle, we can harness this attitude in pieces that are both practical and stylish. Start with some roomy chinos and a crisp white tee. Add a utilitarian blazer or oversized check shirt, or a vintage-inspired sweatshirt for a retro touch.
